What is the name of your pattern and what part of the pattern are the quoted rows from?
Sweater and vest king cole pattern, it’s a pattern I download from love crafts. I am working on the back, and I don’t understand where it calls to repeat rows 5 and 6 until the foll row is completed. Does it mean work on 5 and 6 until I reach the size I am working on which is 22 1/4 inches?

There are 2 slanting lines of k2tog, yo in the pattern. Each time you repeat row 5 you’ll be working one fewer stitch before the first marked stitch until the k2tog is at the row edge. That’s the row:
