What Do You Want to Knit Now that the Holidays Are Over?

Here’s my current list. It will change from day to day.

  1. 3 baby blankets, hats & booties for friends expecting in the next few months.

  2. Finish a cape for granddaughter

  3. Try for the 3rd time to make a cardi for DD.

  4. Always, always, always make baby blankets & caps for BlueBonnet Babies (a charitable organization that gives to the local hospitals and to Ft Sam Houston).

socks, socks, socks!:aww:

Socks, socks, socks as well. I’ve started one pair and have yarn coming for 2 more pair and I have enough camel hair for a fourth pair. I’ve made socks for friends and family and am finally going to keep some for me.

Oh…I am one of those ppl that have 3 projects going at once! Right now, I have 2 upcoming babies (one due March, and one in June) to knit sweaters. I am knitting two Hogwarts vest I am knitting for my Halloween Wedding next year (my fiancee and I are going as Harry and Ginny). And I am knitting a spring/light coat for myself of my own design (based on a baby coat I had fell in love with, that I had to have in my size )

I am knitting them at work, home and at my fiancee’s house respectively.

EEP! What a hard question!!! I just finished a pair of muffatees for my daughter (just because) and I have a few choices to make.

My first pair of socks
Palindrome Scarf
A couple of dishcloths for February gifts

That’s just a start… :happydance:

I’m working on a big loose hat in the hopes that it will be a hat that I’ll wear. (I’m in the group that looks DORKY in hats, sigh)

I’ve cast on a wrap (double strand in the black rainbow boucle from JoAnn’s) - actually more like a ruana - and got a few inches done. I’m also working on a kitchen set for one of my friend’s birthday gifts the end of Jan. One of the mitts is made and I’ve got about 20 rows on one of the dischcloths. I figure if I do a min of 10 rows a day the dishcloths won’t be a big deal. Plus the wrap is just garter stitch so that gets boring after a while.

I also want to start some clogs for me!! and I’d love to play with socks (never made any). I have some suede I’d like to crochet a fat bottom bag with (for me!) … and much more! Oh and lace, I’m dying to start my first lace project!
