I am knitting this sweater pattern called A Stóirín Jumper on Ravelry it’s a paid pattern it is knit flat which I don’t mind doing. I am just a little confused about the directions because I’ve read through the pattern and I don’t see anything that mentions what to do on the wrong side rows.Any help would be greatly appreciate! Winter is coming here in the Middle of the map
Does the pattern have charts for the different stitch patterns?
Usually the chart shows the wrong side rows as well as right side rows, some charts don’t but then you’d expect to see a note about the wrong side rows.
Gorgeous cables and stitch patterns in this sweater. The Ravelry page mentions written-pattern which may or may not include a chart. See if the first wrong side row mentions knitting the sts “as they appear” which is common for Aran sweaters or “knit the knits and purl the purls” or something similar. It’s also possible that pattern notes before the instructions may have something to say.
No charts for this pattern, it’s all written out.
Looks like knit the knits and purl the purls to me. The center panel looks like a four row rpt with changes on the RS rows. At first I thought it was seed stitch but after finding a lighter colored photo I changed my mind.
Somewhere in the pattern it should say something about working WS rows. If not and there are no corrections I’d give the designer a wide berth in the future. It looks like you asked in the comments for the pattern. I hope you get a reply.
