ok. so i knitted my first garment yay! today im going to wash/block it.
but now i have a problem with the washing machine. Now i know we’re supposed to wash n block how we did the swatch but due to the circumstances I cant. will it make much difference if i i wet blocked it instead?
What kind of yarn are you using? Maybe an acrylic or a superwash wool?

Well, the directions for the yarn say machine wash, gentle, cold and lay flat to dry. I don’t think it would be a problem to hand wash and block or to pin out, spray and let dry.
