Vogue lace hoodie lace instructions

This hoodie has 4 charts for the back. They each have a middle section with an 8 stitch repeating pattern. The charts are only 15 rows. It says “cont to work charts in this way, working additions 8-st reps each time each chart is worked, until 16 rows of charts 2 and 3 have been worked 4 times.

I think this means that when you get to row 15 in chart 1, you start over with row 1 (after we #16) but add an extra repeat of the 8-st middle. Which would make sense except the st count for row 15 is not equal to row 1 +8.

Am I interpreting this wrong? Or will it just work out somehow? The charts are not on the same row each time. Charts 1 and 4 are 4 (rs) rows behind.

Wow, very pretty project!
It looks llike there are yarn over increases on each side of the 4 markers every other row for 16 rows. That will give you 8 additional sts every time you work the charts. Then on the next repeat of the chart rows you can work another repeat of the 8-st repeat.
The other yarn overs across the rows are paired with a decrease so the only unpaired increases are either side of the markers.

That’s what I thought at first but I was trying to count in the new charts with the math. Sometimes my engineer brain tries too hard to make things complicated. I hope it turns out good. I am planning to wear it over my wedding dress during the outdoor reception.
Thanks so much for your help!!

Fabulous! It is going to be stunning. All our best wishes.

One more thing. Vogue Knitting is known for its errata. Always worth checking just to make sure. Indeed there are corrections for this pattern for chart 6 and the sleeves.

I saw those in the comment of raverly projects. I bought a compilation book that already included those…but some of the knitters seem to think there are a few more. Thanks again
