i got some nice yarn for my friends scaf im makeing her for christmass its double knit (a bit on the thick side) and its variegated yarn (3 colours) i have tryed casting on a few scarf patterns with it only it seems to look a bit all over the place is there a pattern that it will work well with? not lace its very cold hear or should i just get some more yarn?
This works will with most variagated yarns.
YOu want a multiple of 4 plus 3 stitches to give width of scarf in the gauge you’re knitting in. (You might have to swatch)
Knit five garter rows. Then every row is:
k3, *YO, k2tog, k2; repeat across.
finish with the same number of garter stitch rows you started with and bind off.
this is an interesting one
