My Cup of Tea February Newsletter and Monthly Special
:woot:
:woot:
OOOOOOh monidew you are after my heart! We just got a k-cup brewer (single cup teas, cocoa and coffee) that also has an insert for you to put in your own loose coffee or tea. I love herbal/fruit tea! I may have to sample some dear! :out:
ETA I sent you an email at your store site with some questions
thank you so much for your purchase! I’m so happy that you decided to give it a try! (all I can ask, right?)
for one cup, use about 1 1/2 tsp to 1 Tbs (depending on how strong you like your tea) and make sure that it stays in contact with the water for around 5 minutes (steep time) The water should be at or nearly boiling. (These instructions apply to the fruit tea you purchased and to all black teas. Green teas should never come to a boil, only to steaming, and never remain in contact with water longer than 2 1/2 minutes.)
If you want your tea stronger - use more TEA, not more TIME. Time beyond the 5 minutes (or 2 1/2 minutes) makes the BITTER, not BETTER.
Is it better for your business to buy things off Amazon or your site? I want to try a few but I want to make sure it benefit YOU the most!

Ooh, good question…I plan on placing an order soon!
Thanks for the tip on brewing tea! I didn’t know that about green tea. I’m off to have a look-see at your site now.
I will wait to the answer to this question, but I think I’ll definitely have to try the Earl Grey Cream. I love Earl Grey tea; I’d say it’s probably my favorite non-herbal tea. The vanilla sounds delicious!
It is better for my business if you buy them through my site. Amazon charges 20% (plus a monthly fee for the listing.) So I mark the products up 10% and split the difference with them. I still lose 10% when items are purchased through Amazon. But that’s the price I pay to get my product “out there.”
I was hoping that a lot of new people would find the product, try it, like it, write reviews, etc. On the back of the product is my website. Hopefully it would lead them back to my site. Then, they would buy it there because it costs 10% less. But that draw back to my site is invaluable! So, it’s worth listing at Amazon for a few months to get it!
By far the best way, for me, is to buy it through my site. But please still leave your review at Amazon! Thank you so much for your interest in my little enterprise!
Thanks for letting us know! I’m going to put in an order now.

My order just went through. I’m going to send you a PM.

I just ordered some of that Earl Grey through your site. Can’t wait to try it out! I also used the eCheck on PayPal instead of credit card because I’m assuming that your fees are less that way.
Me too. Definitely want you to get the greatest benefit.
ETA I just ordered the Cranberry Harvest, and can’t wait to try it.
Monica, I love seeing you get all this business! I’m going to order the Valentine’s special for my best friend as soon as I make sure I know her new address. I’ll go to Amazon to leave you a review, too.
For anyone else thinking of ordering- Monica’s teas are THE BEST! I gave her christmas blends out as christmas presents, and got rave reviews from my friends!
KNITTERS ARE THE BEST!
I’ve gotten 7 orders in the past 24 hours!!! WHOA!!!
Those who ordered: Your orders shipped out today. You’ll receive a delivery confirmation number to the email address you ordered from.
THANK YOU ALL for your purchases! You have NO IDEA how much they help!
to all!
I’m happy to do it! I love having the opportunity to support small businesses.
I got the Strawberry kiwi tea last week, and ooooooh it is heaven to smell and drink! I bookmarked the site to use for hostess/birthday gifts from now on!
THANK YOU SO MUCH! The highest compliment you can pay me is your referral!
Wow! My tea arrived already. That was fast!
I will try it in the morning (I don’t do caffeine after about 11 AM or I don’t sleep.)
ETA: It smells wonderful though!
I am so happy that so many knitters are trying your tea! I love supporting small businesses!
With the super fast shipping and prices, I will definately be buying again. I just have to think ahead of time what my tea whim will be…:yay:
Just a quick question as I’m going to be placing an order…Do the loose teas come with a tea ball/infuser? Just curious because I don’t have one so I’ll need one…lol…If they don’t come with the loose tea, do you sell them separately?
