Good for Luke! He looks so cute and I am surprised he let you take a picture of him knitting. He is really working hard on that hat. I hope he gets it finished in time to wear it! What a clever Mom you are to teach him!

Well ! The hat is finished . :yay: Luke did a wonderful job .
The decreasing at the top is a bit hit and miss but when i gathered it up and closed the back seam it looked ok .
It is all in purl stitch. so kind of a garter stitch.
Luke started of with the navy and then asked if he could make it red , white and blue .
This hat is going to the Save the children campaign .
I am a very proud mummy lol :yay: :woot:

Luke, you did a great job. I thought you were using black, but now I see it was navy blue. Great idea to make it red, white and blue.

Mom, you should start a separate thread showing off this hat in the gallery. Everyone will want to see it and some may miss it in this thread.
