It is good that you got things worked out before you were to far in.

I also wanted to add that Moni’s teas are GREAT!! I recieved some in a swap and will be ordering more soon. ( I got one that was a green tea with pinapple in it – AMAZING!) Everyone should order from her!

I have found that non-knitters have a serious misconception about the time/money it takes to knit something. I learned that the hard way with a baby set I was asked to knit. After about 40 hours of knitting the woman decided she didn’t want it anymore and wanted a full refund. I will never knit something on commission ever again.
At least you hadn’t put in your time on it yet.:hair:

I am so glad that everyone here cared enough to stop me before I gat used and abused. I think being undervalued would make me feel worse than being broke! Broke I can do something about, undervalued I can’t!

Well, I had no idea about your tea business! I just checked out your site…what fantastic sounding, unique teas you have! I’ve bookmarked the site, and as soon as I have a couple of extra dollars (DH just got a 2nd job - yay!) I will definitley order some! I’m going to send a link to my DD too - she adores green tea and I think she’d really love some of yours!

Oh man! I think if I ever knit anything for sale for sure I would sell only things I wanted to make and if people like it afterwards they can buy it or not.

But if I do ever make anything on commission, I think I will ask for materials cost and half the labor up front, non-refundable.
