I got a GREAT deal on some circular bamboo needles in various sizes. I really enjoy the feel of the bamboo but fight the plastic tubing the whole time I’m knitting. Is there a “trick” to straightening the tubes?
Unwinding circular needles
Often, soaking the cable part in hot water helps it to relax. I pass the plastic cable throught the steam from a whistling kettle, but be careful not to burn your fingers!
Hanging them after they’re straightened out will probably help. Something like this:
