Unusual Abbreviation

I am starting to knit an Aran sweater. I got the pattern from Indigo Knits, the sweater is called “Whitby”. Unfortunately I neglected to copy the abbreviations. All the abbreviations are pretty standard except one: yp2.

I can’t find this abbreviation anywhere! I have written to the designer and have yet to hear. I have scoured many books, glossaries and lists to no avail. Does anyone have an idea??

Welcome to the forum.
I could only guess, but maybe someone else here has made the pattern.

Another option is trying Ravelry. They are a separate website that is also free membership.
They do have members who have the same Whitby pattern in their project lists. There is also discussions threads of the pattern.

I never used that aspect of Ravelry. I sent out to queries. Hopefully, we all knit our way through the pandemic!
