Unknit a make one

Working on Akimbo pattern, which starts out with a setup row & then two rows which are stitched over & over until 271 sts ending on RS row. Somehow I got off on my rows. I have correct number of sts but on wrong side. Increases are done with M1L & M1R. Can I simply knit this next row, no inc or dec, and then start again with row 1 pattern? If I’m thinking this through correctly this will keep the correct number of sts and put me on RS??? This is a fingering yarn so knitting rows are very small. I don’t think it will be noticed. I have no idea how to tink back a make one. Knitting about 6 months.:

Yes, go ahead and skip the increases on one row then continue. After a few more rows you should see if it worked or not. If it doesn’t, just remove the needles and rip back to the end of the row where you missed the right row. Then just undo that row stitch by stitch as you put them back on a needle (a smaller one is better). A m1 will come undone as you pull the yarn out of it, so you don’t have anything to put on your needle when you do.

Thx for quick reply. I’ll give it a shot in the a.m when fresh.

There’s a video out there for just about everything. I know this isn’t the same increases that you’re using but the idea is the similar.

That’s a great video  I haven’t found one yet even after googling that shows how to undo a M1 (the one where you lift the bar between the stitches either through the front or through the back). I’m just starting a a German short row (circular) that includes M1 increases while on a raglan round. Can anyone help or know of a video? Thanks!

Welcome to the forum!
You can just let the M1 stitch come out of the bar and let the bar drop. It’s the connection between sts in the previous row so it won’t leave a gap or ladder down. Try it out on a small swatch to see how this works.

Thanks! It’s been a tough round between the raglans, M1s, my first German short row and I always get the count wrong so that it’ll say sm, k2, sm but there’s no sm there so I know of course I did something wrong. That’s why appreciate any help I get with this part of the pattern. Thank you!
