Hi! Can someone help me understand this part of the pattern?
“These 22 rows form double cross cable patt with 8 st cable either side. Cont in double cross cable patt cabling the 8st side cables on the foll 3rd row and every foll 8th row.”
Thank you!!!
Welcome to KH!
What is the name of your pattern and designer?
Starting from the point you’re now at, work the cable cross on rows 3,11,19,27,35,43,51 and so on until you reach whatever number of rows or length the pattern calls for.
Ahh!! I understand it now! Thanks you so much!!! It’s Bracken and Rambler Waistcoats of Aran Book 1
Hi! I’m back again. If the cable cross is formed by 22 rows, I can’t do it in 1 row. Could it mean just to repeat the 22 rows along until reaching the length? Thank you!
Repeat the 22rows of the double cross cable pattern. The 8 stitch cable at each side should cross on the rows noted in post #2. It looks like the 8 stitch cable at each side repeats independently of the 22 row pattern.
Ohh that makes sense!!! Perfect. Thank you so much!!!
