Ummm is this the same thing?

Is bulky yarn the same thing as chunky yarn? A pattern I am looking at says use bulky and I wanted ot make sure. I know probably a silly question to soem but I really am not sure on this lol.

It depends on the yarn. Your best bet is to compare the two yarns on www.yarndex.com and see if they have the same gauge listed for both.

I think bulky and chunky are used interchangeably (I do anyway), but it’s best to compare the yarn in the pattern with others as Ingrid suggests.
