Oh my goodness! I am so excited I can hardly contain myself. This is the first triangle of my ‘Wingspan’ project. I did not believe I would have enough of this yarn to do all eight triangles, so I had picked out another yarn so that I could alternate (I wasn’t thrilled about the second color, but it would work). Out of curiosity I weighed what was left of the ball - 33 grams! So the first triangle took 17 grams, 8 triangles should work out to 136 grams or thereabout, I have three 50 gram balls, 150 grams total :happydance:
The yarn is a worsted weight, and I am using a size 8 needle. The pattern instructs a cast-on of 45 stitches for worsted weight, I went ahead and cast on 75 which will make it larger.

Now, to decide :think: Angel Eyelet version or not?
Used to do a lot of conversions for baking cakes at altitude and found it easiest to measure the ingredients by weight; grams was the simplest.
