So I’ve been working on this a couple days and I noticed that every time I got back to row 1 I had lost a stitch. I wasn’t dropping any and it was only on this row that it happened. I’m assuming whoever wrote the pattern made a mistake but I figured out how to fix it. On row 4, skip the p2 and start with the passed over stitch from the previous row. You’ll have the right number of stitches now and you won’t have to make 1. Hope this helps anyone who tries it!

R2 (WS) Col B, p1, *insert needle into passed over st and p, p2, rep from *, p1
R3 Col B, k2, rep from * of R1
R4 Col A rep from * from R2, p2
