Twisted stitch

I watched Amy’s video on twisted stitch and she says to K into the back of a twisted stitch so does that mean when you have a twisted P stitch you K into the back?

If you have a twisted purl, it’s probably easier to slip it off the needle and then back on the right way. Purling into the back loop is awkward, as you have to put the needle into the back loop from left to right–you bring the right needle around to the back.

As I said it’s so much easier to just slip it of and put it back on the left needle the other way.

thanks, I will absolutely do it the easier way. I just started to teach myself the continental way of knitting. I find the K easy but the P much more work for me so I think I will stick to the english way. Even then I do not hold my yarn the traditonal way, I just hold it across my hand and put my whole hand around the needle. I know, I know it is a bad way of doing it but that was the way I was taught 20yrs ago. Bad habits are hard to break.

If it works, it works. There’s no ‘bad’ way.
