I could make a multicolor turkish blanket if I knew how. I mean I can do it but what makes turkish knitting different from intarsia or fair isle? Is it a type of fair isle? is it a type of intarsia?:think:

I think the reference is to the ethnic style of the fair isle, like calling some fair isle patterns Scandinavian. Many fair isle patterns are cultural.

Yes, it looks that way from the chart. You can give a swatch a try. The worst thing that could happen is that you don’t like how it turned out, rip it out the swatch, and use the yarn for something else.
