Tunisian crochet and tunisian knitting

I have noticed that Tunisian knitting also known as faux crochet is where you knit to make it look like crochet. Tunisian crochet on the other hand is where you crochet to make it look like knitting. I have noticed that if you convert a crocheting pattern into a knitting one that it won’t look the same. same thing if you convert knitting into crochet. Is there any way I can convert knitting into Tunisian crochet instead of regular crochet? And is there a way I can convert crochet to Tunisian knitting? They don’t usually do this kind of conversion between knitting and crochet. Instead they will say like “Okay for every 2 rows of garter do 1 row of single crochet” and they will keep doing that for each knitting pattern to convert it to crocheting a similar but different pattern. They don’t usually convert crochet into Tunisian knitting and they don’t usually convert knitting into Tunisian crochet. Is there a way to do this?

anybody help me

My best suggestion is to play around with some yarn and hooks and see what you can come up with. I don’t even know what you mean by Tunisian knitting. You might be the trailblazer in this area. It’s certainly not something I know about…I guess converting patterns like that isn’t even of interest to me. Maybe someone else has an idea or two. Good luck.
