Tunic lower Edge Question

I am making a tunic and the bottom has a slit up the side (on either side of the slit is about an inch of garter stitch). The bottom edge has curled and I thought the few stitches of garter stitch along the slit would prevent it from curling. Should I rip out the bottom edge and make the last few inches all garter stitch or should I just figure blocking will take care of this problem.

How much garter stitch is there? What sort of yarn?

You need a good 1" to get it to not flip up. Try doing the last row in purl rather than knit, which well help your knitting curl under instead of up. Blocking will definitely help. :slight_smile:

I reckon blocking will do the trick, it usually works if you leave it ong enough
