Hi all!
I have always preferred knitting hats top down; it just is easier for me. I have only been able to find one or two top down hat patterns, though. Does anybody know where I can find some more good top down patterns?
Thank you!
Rebecca

I’m currently knitting a top-down from Alchemy called “Oregon Coast” - I’m doing the rolled brim option. Once I figured out the “make 1” (thanks to this forum!) and the double-point tricks, it’s a breeze! Stranded yarn has made it a bit challenging – I just hope it fits someone when it’s done (waiting on #3 circular to arrive to I can finish it).
Noro One-Skein Hat
This has directions for both top-down and bottom-up. I’ve made two or three hats from this pattern with different yarns, and felted the Noro one to fit a toddler.

I’m currently knitting a “Live Dangerously, Don’t Swatch Hat” which is a top down pattern. I have never used this pattern before, but it seems to be working so far! I came across it on this blog: http://ma2ut.blogspot.com/2005_11_01_archive.html
