Haven’t been doing any knitting for some time. I was involved with some remodeling. Going to take a break from that before moving to phase 2. So I decided to get back to knitting. First I couldn’t find what I was working on last. Finally today I located it but looked at it and couldn’t figure where I was at in the pattern. Took a deep breath counted the stitches on needle and finally I am confident I know exactly where to restart. I was afraid I’d have to literally start from scratch. I did know what row I stopped with because it was in knit companion. But with all the row repeat it was a bit of a puzzle. So I’m actually patting myself on my back since I am a relatively newer knitter (about 5 yrs) which to me isn’t a long time. Anyway glad to be back. I always enjoy reading the posts. I learn a lot.
Glad to have you back, too! And you deserve that pat on the back for figuring out where you left off in the pattern. Have fun with this knitting break.

Not surprised you want a break from remodelling, it can be exhausting and a real upheaval.

Thanks. I am happy with the results of the remodel but it was kind of exhausting. Not physically for me, I wasn’t doing the work, but having to make all the choices and the disarray of it. So I’ll move to the next major change of 3 planned, in the early fall. So I’m going to enjoy a little down time. School starts this week for my granddaughter who lives with me , so it will be a little less chaotic.
Welcome back! I like to rotate projects too. Taking a break from knitting with remodeling then taking a break from remodeling with knitting sounds very relatable! 
And it’s so rewarding once one of the projects get finished!
