I have searched online for a cardigan pattern that has some detail and variation in the stitches and is for a size 2. I’ve found many up to size 18 months and starting at size 4; also many that have colored patterns. this one needs to be solid white, though, so the detail all needs to be in the stitch pattern. Anybody know of such a pattern?
Hi,
I have made 3 of these cardigans for my grandaughter. The first one I made was in a lavender baby yarn and as she grew, it became a favorite so I then used a regular knitting worsted in off white. I have just completed the largest size using a kind of heavier worsted weight in pure white. It is Pattern No. 1 from a booklet called “daddy’s little girl” written by Leisure Arts. I purchased this from A C Moore. There are two other patterned cardigans as well. However, only suitable for a girl.
Here’s are a cute one…

But do you need a pattern for a girl or a boy?
How about Haiku from Knitty?

Thanks so much, now I just have to decide. It’s for my youngest DGD who turned 2 in October. Thanks again.
I second the vote on the Knitty pattern – I just got some lovely Katia Diana yarn in a soft rose color to make one for a co- worker of dh who has a 9 month old.
Best,
