I want to see The Order of the Phoenix, but I don’t have anyone to go with… DH is in Iraq 'til November, my good “Harry Potter” friend I was going to see it with is out of town for 3 more weeks on a family emergency, and no one else that I know wants to see it.
Should I just go see it by myself…? I haven’t ever done that before!
I LOVE going to the movies by myself… go, splurge on some really tasty treats!!! (and you don’t have to SHARE them with anyone!!)
And if you can knit without looking, you’ll have something to do, too. 
I go to the theatre by myself all the time and bring my knitting with me (something simple that doesn’t require looking, of course) DOOOO IIIIIIT!
The first time I went to the theater by myself was for [I]Serenity[/I] in 2005. Of the 10 times I saw it, 5 of them were alone.
Didn’t have to share my Nathan with anyone, either! :teehee:
I need to get myself out to see Pirates 3. Nobody wants to see it again. :pout:
I think me, my aunt, and my mom are going to see it tonight, it should be worth it.
I went to see it by myself. Felt perfectly fine doing so. (I wanted to go during the day on Wednesday and my husband was at work - otherwise I would have to wait until this weekend to see it. Now I get to see it again this weekend with my husband. grin)
I’m fine going to see movies by myself. I usually have some friends, though, but there’s no problem with it. :shrug:
nice benefit about going to a movie by yourself is that you don’t have to worry about setting up a time to go, you can just go, and see the next showing.

i love love love seeing movies by myself! i treated myself once to a day off of work for my birthday and decided to go by myself. it’s much cheaper, and you don’t have to share your snacks! i would do it in a heartbeat!

Go by yourself! I went to the midnight showing by myself. It was great and even though I had to go to work the next day on 3 hours of sleep, it was well worth it!
I went again last night with DH- because of course, he couldn’t go alone.
I felt weird the first time I went to a movie alone, but once the movie starts, you can’t talk to the person you went with anyway.
Go see the move…you will LOVE it. And I agree with Yarnlady- those Weasly twins 
Ive gone to see the 2nd and 3rd Lord of the Rings alone, and Snakes on a Plane alone too.
DH and I usually swap movie going…unless we have a babysitter.
He goes, then I go the next night. Its what we did for the LOTR.
Now, saying that, Im wondering how I can get to go see HP and Transformers, and Live Free or Die Hard.
Okay, I did go! Yesterday late afternoon I went by myself to see it…
I agree with you all, the guys that play the Weasley twins are growing up to be quite handsome men!
I felt dirty thinking the Weasley twins were getting hot, and then I realized they must be over 18 by now, and I felt better. 
Hehe, the actors who play the Weasley twins are now 21 (born 1986), so it’s all “legal”… :roflhard:
