so… should I flip the pattern inside out, after seaming?
It depends on how you do the seam. A reverse seam is worked with right sided together so you’re seaming on the inside of the bear and you would turn the piece inside out when you finish.
If you use mattress stitch you seam with the right sides facing so there’s no need to turn the piece inside out.
Okay, wow. This is the first time I’ve heard of the matress stitch, the results look so much better than what I’ve already done with the reverse stitch. I’ll turn the piece inside out.
I will use it next time I am seaming.
