TIPS FOR KEEPING SHORT ROW NEAT - KNITTING FOR OLIVE - BABY BEAR BONNET

I’m knitting this easy enough bonnet and enjoying very much, but I find that the ‘seams’ when I am knitting the short rows seem quite difficult to keep neat. I was just wondering if there is a particular tip for short rows knitting.
I have studied numerous you tube videos etc, and feel I have a handle on it, but feel something perhaps lacking when I am turning?

Any tips/comments most welcome, thank you

What method are you using in the short row turns, w&t, German short rows or another of the many ways to disguise the turn?

Not sure which version. I think is German

Here’s a video for German short rows. I don’t pull too tightly when I make the double stitch. That seems to help make the turn less visible for me.

Try other short row methods too. There may be one that you like better or find neater. There are several to choose from.

Thank you!
