I’m having a really hard time understanding the directions for K1tbl. When I do it, it just looks like an ordinary knit stitch. What purpose does this serve in the pattern? It’s not an increase or a decrease is it? Help!! :wall:
It twists the stitch to make a design element.

So what are you knitting? That may help us help you.
It just twists the stitch - I think it is most noticable if you are doing K1 P1 rib … I like it - makes it more of design feature as ContiKnitter said.
