The Yarn Game?

I don’t know if any of you participate in The Grocery Game? It is an online subscription service that generates a list weekly of your local (national chains) grocery store sale items. It matches the sales with coupons found in the Sunday paper and lets you know yor max savings - allowing you to stock up on items that you can get at a REALLY low price. Couponmom.com does the same basic thing for free.

Anyway… (this is not a promo for either of these 2 sites, I promise) I got to thinking about how neat it would be if someone did the same thing with yarn and fiber arts supplies. What if someone generated lists for both online and chain stores regarding the best deals for supplies once a week or every other week? Then knitters could really get the most bang for their buck and stock up on supplies when they are at their cheapest.

What do y’all think? :flirt:

That would be great! I’m on a pretty tight budget and it would be really nice to be able to get supplies on the cheap.

Great idea! You should get started, people are getting their taxes done!!!

I agree, great idea. Get 'er done!!!

 are you saying yarn is now tax deductible?

I think they let you put it in with your prescriptions.

and they post when sites are having sales. I don’t know how comprehensive it is, but I’ve already ordered and received yarn from their recs and sale notices!

 They really should! Probably save on blood-pressure and depression meds!
