The daisy stitch! Please help!

Hello everyone!
I want to make a baby blanket using the daisy stitch. I have found one way of doing this that I really like, but it is for a round and round pattern. http://www.purlbee.com/daisy-stitch-hand-warmers/

I found another way for back and forth, but that pattern told me to knit every second row, and the daisies weren´t as close as in the first pattern.

Has anyone ever knitted the first type of daisies back and fort? I would be oh so grateful if you told me how it is done!

Thanks!

Do the pattern stitch rows as written, but purl the other rows instead of knit. The back of a knit is a purl, so when you convert round to flat or vice versa, you have to do the opposite stitch. You’ll want 2-4 extra stitches for edges since you’re not going to do it in the round.

Oh, thanks for that;):muah:
