Template for colourwork shawl

Hello,

I am after a template for a shawl to design my own pattern. I am not wanting to design a lace pattern but a simple stocking shawl where I can feature colourwork motifs. Does anyone know of any such template on the internet?

I thought that I had seen such a template in one of my books but I cannot find it anywhere.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
