Tea towel noro scarf and pre-smocked dress

here’s my pre-smocked dress inspired by many here at KH…

I borrowed (shamelessly stole) the idea for tying the ribbons at the shoulder…

and I made a quick washcloth our of Rowan cotton, using a free pattern for the teacup and tea motif. I backed it with some pre-quilted fabric to make a hot pad. I’m not happy with my addition of the fabric- but I was trying it out, so now I know what to fix.

if you squint you can see the motif…

I also just finished a k2P2 ribbed scarf out of Noro Tidiori color #2, 2 balls, 4.5mm needles.

The Tidiori is this lovely acrylic yarn with 5% cashmere that is fascinating. and nice to work with.

Thanks for looking!
