Personally, I don’t see how knitting needles would be any more dangerous than plain old Bic pens, pencils, PDA Styluses, eyeliner pencils, forks (provided with meals), sewing kits, or shave kits. I understand the need for tight security. But somethings are a bit ridiculous. They should allow plastic needles. They’re very blunt.
