The yarn to use is Metallic FX…
would anyone be able to tell me what type of yarn I could use…double knit, or worsted. It is a scarf so the scarf could be longer or wider.
I have yarn that I haven’t used so this would be a great scarf to knit up as it is so pretty.
Metallic FX is a dk weight yarn.

Just one more suggestion-- if you have something that’s on the lighter side of worsted, or even sports weight, that might work well. The guage is 5.5 sts per inch, and that might be just a hair stiff in a normal worsted. Especially because there’s cabling in the scarf and it looks like it needs to “flow” just a bit more. Neat pattern!
The yarn gauge sounds like a thin worsted, but the pattern is knit at DK gauge, so you may want to use the DK yarn.
