Hi I am Sonia I am new to this site, I would like to know how to transfer stitches from straight needles to double pointed needles
Hello and welcome to the forum!
Most of the time it is as simple as just switching to knit with double pointed needles and as you knit all the stitches will end up on the double pointed needles. If it is not possible to knit them over to the new needles, then just slip one stitch at the time over. It is easiest for you if you slip them purl-wise.
