Sweaters (adult, kids & baby) knit in the round?

I just got my Denise Interchangeable needles, and I’m dying to make a sweater I don’t have to seam!

But all I’m finding are sweaters that you knit flat. :frowning:

Can anyone help me find some easy but nice sweaters I can try knitting in the round?
Adult, kids and baby sizes are all fine!

I know I can knit flat sweaters in the round…but I’m still too new to try that. I think I’d be fine until the armholes, and then I’d be lost!
But that’s a whole separate post! :lol:

Since there are tons of them I’m guessing it’s all in the search terms you are using. Try “top down” and “seamless” sweaters.

But maybe you can help me with a specific pattern?

I’m hoping to find a cowl-neck or turtleneck that is like the Bernat Worsted Classic Turtleneck or the Bernat Harmony Turtleneck?

Something like those that’s knit in the round.

My google-fu just doesn’t seem to be working very well because I can’t find what I want, specifically. :frowning:

If you want to try what you suggested about going in the round to the armholes, all you do is place a stitch markers so that you know where the seams would be, and when you get to the armholes, put the ‘front’ stitches and the ‘back’ stitches onto separate needles and then work the front and back by themselves.

You can knit any flat sweater in the round up to the armholes. CO the number of sts in the front and back COs (less 4 sts that would be used for seaming) then knit up the the underarm shaping. At that point, divide the stitches in half and continue to work on it flat. You can put the other half on stitch holders, leave it on the circs and knit with straight needles or however you want.
