Sweater In The Round

While I don’t like to follow someone else’s pattern, I do read them in order to get ideas and rough ideas about gauges, shaping, etc.

Anyone know of any good free online men’s sweater patterns for knitting in the round?

A basic google search will give you lots of free ones.

I’m currently using this site for the basic shaping of a man’s raglan sweater, as I remake dh’s favourite sweater:

Can you calculate your own gauge? If you can, I don’t see why you cannot knit an adult size sweater from this pattern.

Thanks. I have been googling and found a lot of different patterns, but asking about people’s personal experiences with patterns helps a lot.
