my granddaughter wants me to knit her a swancho. Does any one know of a pattern?
I’ve never heard of that before, but I looked it up on Google images and it looks like a big, drapey sweater of some sort? So I’m guessing it’s sort of a sweater poncho? :??
Hmm… maybe like this?

Jan, ‘tango’ looks like the perfect gift for a family member, she’s a tall size 10, and needs light sweaters for work. Thank you!
thanks Jan . My granddaughter describes it as a poncho with sleeves. maybe [I] will try to design one
I’ve had this one bookmarked for ages because I can’t decide if I’d
wear it once knit haha…it’s a poncho with sleeves but might give you
some ideas:

Oh, I love the one from Wright’s. I made copies of the pattern and already planning. Thank you so much for posting both patterns.:yay:

I can’t post links now so delete the dot and put in a period
and remove the spaces.
This is what my knitting group thinks is the Swancho
It comes as a kit but members of my group think you can
get just the pattern for 10.00 at the GlenFiddichwool.com
website.
Keep on knitting,
