Here’s what I am making for my Dad and his wife for their cabin…a no sew fleece blanket - from this pattern:

If you find fleece on sale (and it usually is this time of year), you can make a blanket without a lot of cost.

Mine has a Nordic pattern on one side and a matching blue solid for the other side.

Fleece blankets are awesome and so easy to clean. Of course they are like magnets for dog fur… I make fleecies all the time for The Linus Project.

I was going to make one of these, flying by the seat of my pants, but my seat didn’t know about cutting the 4" square out of the corners.
