How many skiens of yard did it take. IT is truly beautiful!! I have some Baby soft at home…that is just sitting do you think i can use that??
and its the “final 8 stitches of EVERY row” from rows 9-24 that you work in seed stitch right? (duh it probably is a dumb question)
Oh man and i can do different color rows also with this…i love it…
The beauty of this pattern is that you can do any number of stitches you want, as long as it’s in multiples of 8. So, yes, the first and final 8 stitches on each row is in seed stitch, as well as the first 8 rows and the last 8 rows. make sense? You can use any worsted yarn and needle size you want too! I used 3 skeins for mine. It turned out sort of rectangular though because I am planning it as a nursing shawl. if you wanted a crib blanket size, you would need about 6 skeins (depending on the weight of your yarn, of course).
