Stuck Summer Bra Top pattern

Hi, this pattern starts with making two cups and then adding on drop there. I am making a large. I figured out the first 11 rows of the first cup, and then it says to go to the edging, and I have several areas of. Infusion. I can’t seem to attach anything so I will list my questions and copy the pattern below

I finished rows1-11
My questions start from edging to end, but I have included the whole cup pattern here, if it helps

First, it’s looks like I don’t do row 12 for a large, right?
Next, do I do the edging for 3 rows, rows 13-15??
Next, the last part of the edging talks about beg of side, I don’t understand that ? So I do 12 stitches? Where? What stitches?

What is the name of your pattern and designer? There are several summer bra top patterns around.
@OffJumpsJack @ColoCro @GrumpyGramma
Would you help please?

I think I’m not going to be much help. I’d have to work it out as I work the pattern. I need to see a photo of the FO from the pattern, that might help. Knowing the name of the pattern or a link to it would be excellent.

Hello
I’m not great with crochet but perhaps can answer one or two of your questions about the pattern reading aspect.
For size L, you bolded some of the instruction but missed some and this might clear up your quesions for these rows.

PATTERN

CUPS (Make 2 alike)
Row 1 (RS):

Ch5, 1dc in the 4th ch from the hook (3 skipped chs count as 1st dc), 5dc in the next

ch, rotate your work counterclockwise and work 2dc in the next unworked loop of the

chain, turn (Step 1)
Row 2 (WS):

Ch3 (counts as 1st dc, now and throughout), 1dc in the same dc (INC 1), dc in

each of the next 3 dc, 5dc in the next dc, 1dc in each of the next 3 dc, 2 dc in the last

dc (INC 1), turn. (Step 2)
Row 3-9 for size XS

3-9 for size S

3-10 for size M

3-11 for size L [you have done this]

3-12 for size XL:

Ch3, 1dc in the same dc (INC 1), dc in each of the next dc until the central dc of 5dc-

fan, 5dc in the next central dc, dc in each of the next dc until the last dc, 2 dc in the last

dc (INC 1), turn. (Step 3)
Row 10 (10, 11, 12, 13): [i think you missed this]

Ch3 (counts as 1st dc), dc3tog (DEC 2), dc in each of the next dc until the central dc of

5dc-fan, 5dc in the next central dc, dc in each of the next dc until last 3, dc3tog

(DEC 2), turn. (Step 4)

4Work next

11 row for size XS

11-12 rows for size S

12-13 rows for size M

13-15 rows for size L [work 13, 14 and 15 as row 10]

14-16 rows for size XL: as Row 10 [this is your 13, 14, 15 work as row 10]

Row 12 (13, 14, 16, 17) (Edging): [work this as your row 16]

2sc, sc2tog rep from * to * to the central dc of 5dc-fan, 3sc in the next central dc, 2sc

sc2tog, 2sc rep from * to * to the beg of the side of the cup, 6 (9, 9, 12, 12) sc

So, to clarify, the edging is not rows 13 to 15 as you asked, rather 13, 14 15 are worked the same as row 10.
The edging is row 16.
You asked about the 12 sc at the end of the edging, this might make sense once you have worked the other rows as set. If not then I’m sure someone who crochets can help, not me.

You have a few more rows to go and then perhaps post a photo of your work if you aren’t sure of where the 12 sc are. And as others have said it’s really helpful to share a pic of the pattern, or a link to where it can be purchased.

Hope this helps.

You’ve probably given us enough of the pattern to work with. The photo link is very helpful. We can’t post large portions of patterns on the forum due to designer copyright.

Hope it works out.

I think most of your question has been answered, except maybe this part:

It actually says rep from * to * to the beg of the side of the cup. So that refers to where it changes from going straight across the back, to where the cup starts.

I don’t see anywhere in the photos that you would work 12 sc not into scallops, so maybe it’s a typo or something that got copied and pasted where it shouldn’t be.
