Striped Cardigan for my daughter

This is knit in Knit Picks Crayon, held double, on size 10.5 needles. My daughter picked the colors. The pattern is in The Yarn Girls Guide to Knits for Older Kids. It is knit flat, and while the seaming was no fun I don’t think I will knit a striped sweater flat ever again. The end weaving was unbelievable.

It’s a bit big for her, but I think it will last all school year then. We picked out sparkly buttons for it today and she couldn’t decide so there are two blue, two pink, and two “white”.

Thanks for looking.

It’s very cute and so is she!! Good idea to let her choose the colors, too!

Absolutely adorable! Both sweater and daughter. She looks really pleased with it, and you should be too.

Great job! All those horiz stripes should’ve helped with alignment when seaming. (I’m one of those rare types who actually likes seaming. Go fig!) Always good to have something a tad big so your hard work can be appreciated that much longer.
