Hi
I have just finished knitting some soakers for my little one ( to cover her cloth nappy). I’ve knit it flat and the ribbed edge is too tight
. I have just found the Double Cast-On method and am using it for some knitted longies i am making and found it WONDERFUL. So i will have to rip back my waists on my soakers. BUT my question is, how do you do a
Stretchy cast off for a ribbed edge???
TIA
Kylie
I’ve not done anything like this before, but i did find this, and it MAY be useful.

thanks so much for that - it looks as if it may work

For a loose binding on wool soakers I like Elizabeth Zimmerman’s sewn cast off. It is explained here
Mama Bear
I LOVE EX’s sewn cast off, very stretchy

Thankyou ladies - i am off to study each one and see which makes the most sense. Will let you know how i go .
