I just bought new circular needles (clover bamboo ones) and the plastic cord is super spiral-y. How can you best straighten them out a bit before knitting?
I am embarking on my very first sweater!

Hold the cable cord in a bowl of hot water for about a minute and then run through fingers to straighten. That’s about the easiest I know of.
I buy the Clover bamboo and that’s what I do run them under hot water.
The addi turbos don’t have that problem.
The ones I got at Walmart do. I hadn’t thought of putting them in warm water.
I did this yesterday, and was so happy to see the cord uncurl.
Thanks!
Haha! Stupid old twirly cords.
