I just started knitting last month. I’m working on a basic scarf with a YO row. The stitches in the rows are after the YO are too loose. What can I do about this?
A yo produces an eyelet, which could be perceived as a stitch that is too loose. Is this the case?? The yo on the return row will seem weird and awkward but it needs to be worked just as any other stitch.
The YO row stitching is fine. The problem I’m running into is that the stitches in the rows after the YO are too loose. How do I get them to look tighter? Is my tension off in the rows after the YO?
