Stitch patterns that can be worked over any number of sts?

I’m just curious, can y’all suggest any stitch patterns where it doesn’t matter how many number of sts you need to make a particular pattern? There’s the regular garden variety - garter stitch, stockinette, reverse stockinette… you can have any number of sts to make these patterns. Are there any others?

Most stitch pattern can be used for almost any number of stitches as long as you have enough stitches to do at least one iteration and you do not work in the rounds. For example seed and moss stitch requires at minimum two stitches, but you can do it with any number of stitches more than two as long as you do not work in the rounds. The same for basket weave patterns: as long as you have enough for one iteration you can do it with any number of stitches. For example if you have stitches for 4.5 iterations, then begin with last 25% of the stitches from the iteration then 4 full iterations, then do 25% of the next iteration to fill in the edge.
