Does anyone know where I can find a knitting pattern for stirrup legwarmers. These are used primarily by ballet dancers to go over pointe/ballet shoes to keep the arch of the foot warm.
You could use this pattern and instead of finishing off with the ribbing, just continue on up into legwarmers

I didn’t get a pattern from your link, Cougar.
You could find a leg warmer you like, then knit a strip about 2" wide and as long as it takes to wrap from one side of the ankle under the foot to the other side and sew it on both sides.
If you’re a member at www.ravelry.com, here is a pic of one:

The pattern is from this book: Love to Knit Socks
You can look for it at your local library.
and this free one at Lion Brand: http://www.lionbrand.com/patterns/70668AD.html
You’d have to make them longer.
Lion brand has one, too!
