Hi,
My Susan Bates straights felt super sticky yesterday while I was knitting. I was using kitchen cotton yarn if it matters. It is hot here and we had a brief rainstorm. I didn’t think metal needles would be sticky from those conditions?! My hands are always clean, too. :???:
Take a paper towel and alcohol and wipe them down with the alcohol. If that doesn’t help a soapy rag and rinse should take the sticky off.
Have you noticed this happening even a little in humid weather? I’ve never noticed it with my nickel plated. I agree with Daylily.
It’s normally quite dry here and never had that problem before. O.o
I saw online to wipe them with wax paper after washing and that worked! :yay: :cheering:
