Im kitting a sweater from bottom up in the round. U have to split the round in half to work on back then front and knit arm holes. Is there a video suggestion that would help me learn this?
Welcome to the forum!
You’re essentially dividing the sts in half, half for the front and half for the back. You can place a marker halfway around the knitting so that half the sts are between the beginning of round marker and this new marker and the other half are between the new marker and the beginning of round marker. Follow the directions for your size and when you reach the new marker, slip the sts from the new marker to the beginning of round marker to spare needles or to waste yarn. Now turn the work and knit the sts back and forth to finish the back.
What is the name of the pattern and what size are you making?
