I have read a number of posts about the new Harmony needles, that people have experienced splintering. (They also say that the company is very nice about replacing them.) I thought I’d gotten a great bunch, but not so fast-- out of the 2 sets of 5 DPs I’ve used, one has a needle with one tip splintering and the other has 2 needles splintering, one at both ends! I’m starting to wonder about the quality control on these. . .I’m calling Knitpicks tomorrow.
I have seen several posts about quality control issues with these needles. Kind of scary considering they sounded expensive! I guess I will be happy to stick with my good ol’ boye needle master set.
