Has anyone knitted the Space Invaders socks from Knitty yet?

And Google ‘Space Invaders Socks’, you should find links to blogs where knitters have tackled them and given comments on the pattern or problems, I often do this before I knit a pattern to see how others dealt with problems, what they chose for colours, other mods etc., also search for ‘pattern name KAL’ for knitalongs.
